Nahno Volunteers is the National Youth Engagement and Volunteering Program. It is a national program that promotes volunteerism and youth engagement that enables youth to make positive change in their communities, Nahno Volunteers also provides the opportunities to youth to develop their skills and gain experience through volunteering. Nahno Volunteers is an online platform that matches youths interested in volunteering with entities such as CBOs, NGOs, public agencies and private companies who want to host volunteers. In this way, the platform works to unite volunteering and youth engagement efforts at all levels and to provide as many volunteering opportunities as possible.



The volunteer/participant registers to participate in the volunteer opportunity listed by the company/organization on the “Nahno Volunteers” platform based on his interests and the suitability of the opportunity to his experiences and skills, in addition to its proximity to his place of residence. Accordingly, the process of selecting volunteers or participants is carried out by the company/organization according to the required criteria and the extent to which the applicant’s experience and skills match the requirements for the activity.



The “Nahno Volunteers” platform works to continuously provide various volunteer opportunities, as the platform announces suitable opportunities for individuals with different qualifications and abilities, including people with special needs. Opportunities are implemented by institutions, associations, and initiatives in different parts of Lebanon at different times, according to the requirements of the activity or what the owners of these opportunities see. You can add and edit special needs information on your account through the account settings.

Once you have completed the registration process on the Nahno Volunteers platform, you can view the volunteering opportunities advertised, you apply based on your interests and capabilities you listed when registering your account



The selection period depends on the hosting entity. After reviewing your application, the hosting entity reviews and accepts your application, they will contact you for an interview if needed.

Volunteering opportunities are available to all youths interested. Volunteers will be selected according to their skills and interests.



Nahno Volunteers is not limited to Lebanese, it is accessible to all nationalities and registration can be done regardless of nationality.



There is no guarantee that you will be given an opportunity once you have registered on the Nahno Volunteers platform. It is the hosting entity that selects the volunteers, based on the nature and requirements of the opportunity, and based on your interests, personal skills, competencies, practical experience and other volunteering experience. Nahno Volunteers strives to provide you with volunteering opportunities to suit your interests, so you should keep applying to opportunities until you are selected.



The idea of ​​volunteer work is built on the basis of providing a service that contributes to a positive impact on the community and enhances the sense of responsibility of the volunteer. The “Nahno Volunteers” platform gives a certificate of appreciation for each participation or volunteering activity, and some companies/organizations give material rewards, allowances, transportation or food meal for each volunteer/participation day, and some do not offer in exchange for the  opportunities in their projects and gaining new experiences. You can check if the opportunity provides rewards or allowances through the details mentioned about the opportunity in the “Nahno Volunteers” platform, or you can contact the company/organization that provides the opportunity to inquire about whether or not there is a financial reward for volunteering.



Some of the hosting entities offer transportation for the volunteers, others don’t. Noting that this information will be listed on the platform, or you can contact the hosting entity directly



The review process depends on the opportunity for which you have applied, and the hosting entity’s system of accepting applications.



Yes, you can register. However, having any practical/volunteering experience in areas such as sports, design, media, computer, management, or personal skills and other hobbies related to the volunteering opportunity you have applied for, you are more likely to be selected. Therefore, we recommend you to add these to your personal profile on the Nahno Volunteers platform to increase your chances of being selected.



Yes, you can register. A high school/Med-School certificate is not a requirement to register on the platform.



Yes, you can register and volunteer in any governorate you want. The Nahno Volunteers platform works on providing opportunities for volunteers from companies/institutions across the country.



The "Nahno Volunteers" platform works to publish opportunities for the company/Organization and based on the information listed or participation about the volunteering activity, the volunteer applies for participation according to his interests, and the platform works to outreach the largest number of applicants from all over the country to register on the platform, but the platform does not guarantee full provision of the required number of volunteers or participants for the registered volunteer opportunity.



Yes, you can apply to all volunteering opportunities related to the entities that you believe are suitable for you. However, you must be selected by the hosting entity in order to volunteer.



At the moment, the entity can only document the volunteer’s presence or absence in the activity.



Yes, you can apply for several volunteering opportunities at the same time.



The hosting entity will contact you with further details.



Training will be provided for each entity on how to use the platform, including the documentation of volunteering opportunities after the completion of the activity.



The institution/organization can deactivate its account through the account settings option, and then you must contact the platform administrator in order to cancel the account, as there is no obligation for the institution to continue to partner with the platform.



The dress code depends on the entity you will volunteer for and the type of the activity. When you apply for a volunteering opportunity, you must read all of the information related to the activity, including any approved dress code. Dress code policies usually ask volunteers to dress modestly, in line with the region where the opportunity is based.



Yes, the hosting entity can submit a request to delete the activity. This request will be approved by the platform administrator.



The issue of food meals depends on the company/institution that offers the opportunity. You should read all the information related to the activity carefully to find out if the entity will provide a meal or other incentives. If meals are not mentioned, you can contact the hosting entity directly to inquire about this matter, or bring your own meal.



The platform does not guarantee the quality of volunteers. However, as a hosting entity, you can recruit volunteers who meet your requirements. You can conduct interviews with the candidates to check their skills, experience and motivation. Noting that in the next stage, an evaluation will be made for each volunteer or participant that appears on their profile.



If a volunteering opportunity has been posted on the platform, the company/organization can make amendments only by contacting the platform administrator.



Hosting entities and volunteers are subject to the terms and conditions of the platform.



You can inquire about any additional information regarding the opportunity you wish to apply for through the opportunity page, click on ‘Contact us’ on the volunteering opportunity page to contact the person in charge of the opportunity. You can also ask questions during the interview or after you have been selected by the hosting entity. If you have been selected or interviewed and still have questions about the opportunity, you can communicate directly with your supervisor once you have started volunteering to discuss your tasks clearly.



You can start the registration process by clicking ‘Start your journey’ as a partner.
Step 1: Create your account using your entity name, email address and your password.
Step 2: You will receive an email with all the details to follow up your registration.
Step 3: You will be asked to add more information about your entity to your account.
Step 4: Your request will be reviewed within three to five working days.



The hosting entity must adhere to the information in the opportunity announcement. If a hosting entity needs to change the tasks, they should consult with the volunteer and the two parties should agree on the changes. Note that you should report this problem directly to the Nahno Volunteers platform.



The goal of an entity joining the Nahno Volunteers platform is to provide volunteering opportunities for youth, to enhance their participation in volunteering work and community engagement, and to contribute to improving their lives
The platform gives the entity access to a wide range of skilled and experienced volunteers throughout the country
Entities benefit from hosting volunteers in two ways: they can access volunteers in required areas and benefit from the innovative ideas of young volunteers, and they expand the horizons of the entity’s work



As we mentioned before, volunteering is based on providing a service that contributes to a positive impact on the community without return. It enhances a sense of responsibility in the volunteer. You can consult with your hosting entity to see if they support transportation costs or not, through the details mentioned about the opportunity on the “Nahno Volunteers” platform, or you can contact the company/organization that provides the volunteer opportunity to inquire about the existence of a transportation allowance or not.



This depends on the hosting entity providing the opportunity, you can consult with your supervisor on this matter.



Registering in the Nahno Volunteers platform and being a volunteer in any entity does not guarantee you a job opportunity, so you should not expect to get a job opportunity after you have completed the application period.



Please contact the Nahno Volunteers platform immediately and report all details of the incident. Protecting you and safeguarding your safety and basic rights are our top priorities. All information about the incident will be treated with utmost importance and confidentiality. Necessary action will be taken against the perpetrator.



The company/organization providing the opportunity differs from one company/organization to another. Some of them give a certificate and some do not, this information will be shown on the opportunity page when you apply for it. Noting that the "Nahno Volunteers" platform presents volunteer/participation certificates from the platform stamped from "ANERA", "Live-Love" and "UNICEF". Also, your volunteering/participation will increase your hours balance in your personal account on the “Nahno Volunteers” website, which will contribute to increasing your chance of being accepted into other opportunities.
